Overcome by so much grief in her young life, Susan Taylor Smith chose to handle them by trying to understand her psychic abilities that she inherited from her great grand mom who was known as a voodoo worshiper. Labeled since childhood as a freak for her uncanny ways, she embarked upon a lifestyle that challenged her to never forget the ladies who she inherited her unusual behaviors. Susan Taylor Smith was determined throughout her life to convince her family and friends that her gifts were given to her for a reason. Susan is wise to allow her oldest sister to become involved in her personal and professional life. Until their paths crossed during a love triangle gone awry, she was on her way to understanding and mastering her psychic world through domestic housekeeping work to volunteering as a part time deputy for an incompetent Sheriff's department. But as she soon found out from not having day-to-day contact with her sister, Susan regressed to her unusual behavior of thinking aloud to anyone in ear shot. For talking out loud was not the most important worry she had to deal with in her busy day-to-day schedule for the most frightened ones of all were her abilities to dream future events and perceived someone's heart from looking in to their eyes. A deadly combination that she shared willingly and lead to a close friend to embark on a dishonest money making scheme which folks soon blamed Susan for her friend's subsequent arrest and later misfortunes. Susan recounts how she and her two siblings were raised in a Southern household whose parents left them to be cared for by their grandmom. Being an opinionated lady, her grand mom found created ways to care for and love them in to young Southern genteelly ladies. Susan's association with her church helped her to become very creative in sharing her thoughts unknowingly out loud to her maker and to her car which she so proudly named Betsy.
